Rolling Jokers Riders Group

About Us...

The Rolling Jokers is open to responsible Motorcycle Riders over 21.  If you want to join a Motorcycle Riders Group who likes to ride, and you want to make onew friends for the road, and new friends in general then our group should interest you.

What we are:  We are a Riders GROUP, a loose affiliation of a group of people with similiar likes and interest. We are just people who like to get together and ride, and have fun.  We are a family oriented group of riders and we are not affiliated with any other group or organization although we support the rights of all Motorcycle Riders. We are not a bar hopping group.

Riders who enjoy the casual day ride where you meet up just let things happen but also like to take a trip now and then to a "biker event".  Lake rides, mountain rides, country rides, hanging out with friends, riding out to eat at your favorite restaurant, or just cruising around, it's all good!

We want to build a riders group of people who are hassle and drama free.  In reality when you have a group of people you cannot please everyone all the time so you need to please everyone sometime.  We want people who are fun, and like to have fun, but have class when needed.  Remember to respect other members and those around you and other patch memebers.  Leave your ego's and excess testosterone at home and just bring your fun self.

People with heart, character, and personality are welcome to join us.  Bikers come in all shapes and sizes and we welcome all.  Not everyone is everyone else's eye candy that's what makes the world go round.  We encourage members to ride safe, sober, and help the others in the group when in need on the road.

No Dues - No mandatory meetings - No prospecting - No commitments other than make one ride every 90 days. Always have courtesy for other riders and patch holders.  Please don't join just to join, we want people who will participate and actually ride.

Any member can suggest a ride and event to be posted on the events list and we will be glad to post it for you with the details you have.

If you know someone who rides and you think would be a good member, please ask them to join us via   the  following MeetUp site:

We also have a "members only" Facebook Group page:

I knew today's ride was going to be awesome!  Not only was I going to take the first backroad journey to the upstate for this summer, but I would be traveling with the Central Columbia H.O.G. Chapter that would be led by Nancy.

Being this was my first time riding with this group, I didn't know what to expect or how many riders would show up at Harley Haven for the ride.  17 Bikes and even more riders showed up to make the journey to Aunt Sue's restaurant near Table Rock Park.

The journey took me first along 176 through Sumter National Forest to Witmire.  Low traffic and tree lined roads added to the beauty of this ride.  We continue on along Old Buncombe Road to Hwy 49 through Cross Anchor where we made a right on Hwy 56 for a few miles picking up 146 towards Woodruff where we would make our first rest stop at the Hot Spot at 146 and I-26.

We continue on to Woodruff pickup up 221 through Woodruff to Hwy 101.  Riding North on 101, we make our way to Greer.  Side note here.  I hadn't seen the BMW plant in Greer, so what a pleasant surprise for me when we rode past this awesome plant.  OK, back to the trip.

Greer proved to be the only place along the entire trip that we had trouble keeping 17 bikes together.  But once we picked up Hwy 14, more scenic low traffic country side greeted us.  Finally, there it was, Hwy 11.  Why waas I so excited about this?  It's not called Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway for nothing!  Making our way along 11 we reach Hwy 276 and the final leg of the journey to Aunt Sue's!

We pulled into Aunt Sue's and line up along the back of the parking lot.  As with most trips long or short, we chatted about some of the mishaps and other notable events that occurred along the way.  I was not disappointed with the quality of the food at Aunt Sue's.  But I will say if you're in a hurry, this place might not be for you.

In summary, I rate this trip as one of the greater trips I've made on my back road journeys.  All the routes took us through many farmlands, national forest, and the Cherokee Foothills.  Yes, there are shorter routes, but none will compare to the scenic excitement!  Plan for an all day journey but worth every minute!
